Mountain Craft DaysAs fall rolls in, we welcome the colorful foliage, delicious harvest goods, and a season jam packed with awesome festivals, especially here in the Laurel Highlands. Our gorgeous mountain views and rolling hillsides full of colorful displays serve as the perfect backdrop for some harvest season entertainment. Enjoy the leaf-y scenery and harvest flavors at events like the Delmont Apple ‘n Arts Festival, Connellsville Mum Festival by the Fayette County Cultural Trust, Oktoberfest at Idlewild, and Seven Springs' Autumnfest. Check out the steam engines and antique tractors at the Farmers & Threshermens Jubilee, or head over to the Scottdale Fall Festival for a car show, dog show, parade and more.

These fall festivals are also some of the best crafty and cultural destinations. Explore the Mt. Pleasant Glass & Ethnic Festival, where over 100 ethnic food and craft vendors gather. Relive the area's historical heritage at Fort Ligonier Days, Mountain Craft Days, or the Stahlstown Flax Scutching Festival.

Say goodbye to summer salads and welcome in hearty fall comfort foods. All of these festivals serve up some scrumptious harvest foods, like apple pies, pumpkin treats, chili, and so much more. Some of these fall festivals are even devoted to food. The Chili Cook-off & Laurel Highlands Harvest Festival at Christian W. Klay Winery and the Brews & Brats event at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort pack in the food as well as the fun.
