We appreciate the spirit and life of the places we call home. We are pleased to support regional artists by exhibiting their work on the walls of our restaurant. Every month a adorns the walls of our casual dining space and, in turn, provides our local talents exposure to a broad community of appreciative patrons!
Walpole, New Hampshire has become a popular detour for those traveling through the beautiful Connecticut River Valley, and The Restaurant at Burdick's has become a destination in and of itself. Once referred to as "a little piece of the big city in an historically well-heeled tiny country town", many travel out of their way to come to The Restaurant. Others plan entire trips around the special annual events hosted here in January, July & September.
If you have the opportunity, be sure to plan a visit during these festivities - you will be treated to authentic cuisine accompanied by excellent libations to complement the meal, entertainment, and as always...exquisite chocolates and pastries.
January 25 - Annual Robert Burns Poetry Supper - On this night we pay homage to the immortal memory of Scotland's most beloved bard - featuring traditional Scottish fare with each course embellished with a different fine single malt whisky. The evening also includes traditional bagpipe music and poetry readings by special guests.
July 14 - Annual Bastille Day Celebration - A celebration of Gallic culture in the best tradition of summertime revelry with a special French menu for both lunch and dinner. The celebration includes the annual Deux Chevaux car race and festivities in the outdoor tent with live music and food. Here you can enjoy crêpes, a raw bar, sandwiches, grilled lighter fare and lots of fun from noon until 9pm.
